For the last five years, I had complete freedom. I lived in Japan, explored Latin America, spent months in Southeast Asia. No fixed home, no routine—just the ability to work from anywhere.
And yet, I’m making a deliberate decision: I don’t just want to travel—I want to build.
The Other Side of Constant Travel
I love exploring new places, but long-term travel takes up more mental space than people realize.
• Every new place means new decisions. Where to work? Where to live? How to find a routine when everything around you keeps changing?
• Simple things take way more effort. In Southeast Asia, just getting stable internet can become a full-day task.
• Not everyone who keeps moving is making progress. Some nomads build great businesses, but I’ve also met plenty who are stuck in the same loop—new country, same life, no real growth.
At some point, I had to ask myself: Do I want to keep moving, or do I want to create something lasting?
Why I’m Choosing Germany
Not because I have to, but because it’s the right environment for what I want to do next.
• I want to take my business to the next level.
• I want to be more involved in the accessibility space and connect with people in person.
• I want a routine that lets me go all in.
That doesn’t mean I’ll never travel again—I can still take trips, explore new places. But right now, my priority is depth, focus, and real progress.
Some decisions aren’t the most exciting, but they’re the ones that actually move you forward.
