The past year has been a mix of movement, travel, meeting people, and learning a lot. I’ve had some incredible experiences, built my business further, and explored different ways of living. But at the same time, I’ve also felt a bit scattered. Too many moving parts, too many commitments pulling in different directions, and not enough depth in the things that actually matter.
Some things felt exciting but didn’t really stick. Some things I did just because they seemed like a good idea, not because they actually felt right. And other things—like running, focused work, and spending time with people who inspire me—were what really brought energy.
So for 2025, I’m refining rather than adding. Not just focusing on what to do more of, but also on what to let go of to create more space for what actually matters.
Less of This:
• Too many commitments → If it’s not an enthusiastic yes, it’s a no
• Short-term, unstructured travel → Prioritizing longer stays where I can build a rhythm
• Superficial social interactions → Investing in deeper, more meaningful connections
• Forcing activities that don’t feel natural → No more doing things just to tick a box
More of This:
• Running & fitness as a social anchor → Joining running clubs, structured training, and making fitness a way to connect
• Public speaking & communication skills → Getting better at storytelling, presenting, and stand-up—things that compound over time
• Stable bases with purposeful travel → Longer stays in key locations, mixed with immersive co-living experiences
• Deepening friendships through shared experiences → Running retreats, lake trips, micro-adventures with people I actually vibe with
• Simplification & subtraction → Cutting unnecessary complexity, streamlining routines, and focusing on things that actually move the needle
The Focus for 2025
This year isn’t about doing more, it’s about doing the right things—the things that actually add something valuable to my life. Less scattered effort, more deliberate action. More time spent on what actually matters, less energy wasted on things that don’t.
2025 is about refining, simplifying, and making sure every step forward is intentional. That’s the goal.
